Banana, Coconut, and almond Oats
Oats are great because you can add so many different things to it. It's really hard to go wrong with a bowl of oats. This mix was particularly delicious and jam packed with nutrients.
- Old Fashion 100% Natural Whole Grain Oats
- Agave sweetener
- 1/2 banana
- Handful of blueberries
- Vanilla almond milk
- Coconut chips
- Chia Seeds
- Powdered chocolate peanut butter
You don't have to align the ingredients in symmetrical rows, but I think it adds some fun to the cooking process. You can substitute the powdered peanut butter powder for any of your favorite protein powders (or a row of peanut butter).
This particular bowl tasted absolutely delicious because I warmed up 1/2 cup of oats with 1 cup of vanilla almond milk in the microwave.
I usually use water and add touch a vanilla milk at the end, but oh my when these boil in almond milk they have such a fresh taste.
