Over the years I've followed a lot of sustainable food and plant based bloggers. Many have these beautiful recipes with acai bowls arranged impeccably. To be completely honest, when I first started out my smoothies were mediocre in taste. I also needed time to familiarize myself with the latest superfoods and ingredients.
It took me a while to get things just right and I'm still learning every day. Looking at other instagram accounts can be intimidating for those of us just starting out, but I can promise you those bloggers started out just like you!
I created this blog to provide a comfortable space to learn about plant based eating without the pressure to strive for perfection. We're all on our own journey and can support each other throughout the process.
Feminism and women empowerment are also crucial to Green Girl Food's mission. That's why we partner with other bloggers in the space to share insight, wisdom, and delicious vegan recipes with our readers.
